Starry Nights at Nowashe Village
Step back in time and then look to the stars! Join us at Nowashe Village for a special evening program combining an open-air tour of the village with an unforgettable night of stargazing.
From 7–8 PM, Nowashe Village will be open for self-guided tours, offering guests the chance to explore the site as the sun begins to set. Learn about Indigenous star mapping and star myths from one of our educators.
At 8 PM, turn your eyes to the night sky for an engaging introduction to stargazing and astrophotography led by James O’Brien, PhD.

Bring a lawn chair and snacks and settle in for an evening under the stars. A flashlight and bug spray are also recommended for your comfort.
