“Dig it!” Hands-On Archeology Lab at Bloomfield Public Library (Prosser)
Please Note: This program is being presented at the Bloomfield Public Library (Prosser); Registration is required – please sign up below!
Unearth the past! Step into the role of Archaeologist in this hands-on investigation of a Connecticut “excavation site.” Students will explore artifacts through interactive activities and then analyze excavation notes, maps, and artifacts. Participants will work together, looking at clues to figure out who lived at the site, dates, and what may have happened. Discover how archaeologists turn fragments of the past into full stories.
For ages 10 to 19. Registration is required as there is a limit of 24 participants. Register here on the library’s website.
