A Day in the Life

The brand new Prosser Library in Bloomfield will host Nowashe Village educator Miss Lindsay as part of their Native American Heritage Month programming.  Miss Lindsay will share a day in the life of Indigenous peoples in central Connecticut.  This program, will specifically highlight the foodways and material culture of the Woodland Period (c. 3,000-400 years ago).  Other highlights include: how Indigenous Peoples used the natural resources around them, how gender roles were divided and how they hunted and prepared food.
